Now the warning is out of the way. I want to do an adventure using my Home Region as a setting: Loch Salann, or in modern English, the Salt Lake Valley. In fact, I got the basics down already: yadda, yadda. If I do current D&D, it would have to be D&D 3 1/2; because I've opted not to purchase D&D 4th Edition (the GSL is the biggest factor, don't have the books stay innocent of the GSL).
Who would be up to getting a 3 1/2 version of the adventure? I have everything I need to make it go 3 1/2 (although to tell the truth, I wish Complete Arcane was in the 3 1/2 SRD; I'd love to put a Warlock in it). I'm making it more of a Dark Fantasy theme. It won't be necessarily true to Basic D&D or 1st Editon D&D, since orcs are a player race; but I'll do my best to make it lethal.
Oh, I'd like to do one or more pieces to illustrate it. Here's something else I've been doing:
