One of my players has started making cardboard cutouts of spell templates for use on the battle-mat, and I was wondering if the templates in the back of the
3.5e DMG were ever made available for download?
I cruised the WotC site for a little while, but never found them.

Suggest to your players that the Steel Sqwire template sets are an excellent present for a fine DM such as yourself! (Available from Paizo.)

Steel Sqwire template sets rule. Second the recommendation, as you can place them over existing minis.

On the cheap you could create templates similar to Steel Sqwire from craft pipe cleaners.
