well, this bites. I know we had wingy down 34 hp, and none of us were hurt. I hope DM can put things back together...otherwise, e'll have to start all over, I guess? Please, no one leave the game over this!!!

Leo-

A hacker trashed the ezBoard network and damaged a lot of boards. Numerous threads are missing, particularly those between the bigging of May and now. They may or may not be able to restore the lost data.

So we may or may not get our Room 2 thread back. Everyone should make sure your characters are still in that forum. If dragon has a good record of the game status, we should be able to get moving again, We had already suffered from a sluggish start and slow rate of posting, so I hope this doesn't wash us up altogether.

I'm hoping we get moving again, but I think we should wait until the dust settles.

My old LD group was agonizingly slow, made worse by our former (replacement) DM who disappeared for literally months at a time.

As I tend to check in daily, this really pissed me off.

The group we have here is, as far as I can tell, much more reliable. However, if certain members of my old group are any indication, Dragon Majesty has his hands full keeping this whole thing together, board wide.

I would humbly suggest that, as a group comprised largely of long time board regulars, PBP vets and even employees of Necromancer Games, we give Dragon Majesty the confidence in us that we will stay put and be patient while he goes and chases down all the kids who surfed over here on a whim from EnWorld, and talks them in off of the ledge.

I'm sure it would help his peace of mind greatly to know we'll just chill and wait for him to do what he has to do. As long as we, the players, are all ready to go, I see no reason we can't pick up where we left off when the dust settles. Until then, the man's got his hands full, I'm sure.

Personally, I'm going to check in here every day, two at the most. I usually do anyway. (if not more) I may not post, but I'll check. When I see the go-ahead, I'll jump back in. That's how I'm playing it.

Whaddaya think, folks? A little roll call, so DM can at least check this group off of his "things to worry about" list?

As my days of tabletop gaming have come to a close, at least for awhile, I look forward to the PbP gaming and will stick through this bump in the boards. I'll be waiting in the weeds for this thing to get started again.

Thanks for the vote of confidence people.

I would love to restart this game this very moment, but it doesn't look like this ezboard system is stable right now. Check the Room 1 OOC thread, and you'll see we are losing data posted since the great "meltdown."

So anything and everything we post here at present may just disappear. I'm not going to allow us to lose your or my hard work again, so it does look like we have no choice but to wait until the "dust settles," unless we temporarily move the game to another set of boards.

But do check in with a quick post if you can. Is Berova still out there? I think he's the only one we have yet to hear from.

I'm really glad every one's on board with this. If this thing drags out long enough that we need to use a different board, I might have a couple of ideas. I'd like to wait and see, though.
