That way we can draw on them as a pool of additional combat support on days when we have few players, and if something should befall Soot, I have a good source for a replacement animal companion. Doing this may require a trip to Benobles, though, since I don't know what dog breeds they'd have in town, or if any of them would be suitable for Korothane's needs. The typical specimens of dogs in Tegel are probably not up to Korothane's needs or wants for the plans above. You're looking at about 1 week per level of the spell, 1,000gp per week of materials, and a reasonable calm place to do it in (it is possible it may take longer depending upon the success of a spellcraft check DC 10 + spell level - no take 10). Your current abode is okay as long as you are not seriously interrupted and have 10 by 10 space you can dedicate to your work (the rest can be a small patch of the party's fields or somewhere outside of town when needed for testing). I'm in Cambodia, visiting Angkor Wat and the surrounding ruins. Today I visited a ruin called Beng Melea, which has a real Indiana Jones feel to it. Trees strangling ancient ruins, etc. I climbed around, over, and through them. I'll post pictures soon! I should be more available than I am now to play D&D starting Feb 8th, I hope. They work of the party(ies?) in the region could have stirred up some more confidence in the town as a mid point between the relatively nearby towns/cities. The young half elf stands tall for his kind, with a solid yet slender build and light tan skin with grey undertones outlined by stately clothing worn well by the roads journeys. His face is somewhat unshaven and his hair windblown. Such a haphazard appearance seems to complement his moderately good looks, even considering the pair of scars angled on his left cheek. Marbled-violet eyes reflect a pain that persists through even the brightest of his smiles

As a consequence, my appetite is greatly supressed and I'm afraid I haven't eaten or drank much today while seeing the doctors and having tests taken, resulting in a DM who is feeling tired and in mild pain tonight. Posts: 4062 Feb 8 07 6:57 PM Lead Demon Sage Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Luckily (fingers crossed), it is only mild discomfort, loss of appetite (good for loosing the weight I've been working on), and some other things I won't go into. The symptoms could be much worse (no really, really bad things so far). We are hoping it just bacteria or something small and the specialist I saw today didn't order x-rays yet so he seems to think it isn't really bad at the moment.
