If you needs are arcane or divine, I can swing either way with the character concept I have in mind. It has come up before and I am likewise interested in Beguiler if that will work, otherwise I could just as easily make a sorcerer of some flavor.

Kenmckinney tried to drum up some interest this past spring when there were several on-line games being hosted and run from this forum. Ken graciously has offered to run the game and Damien the Bloodfeaster and I are anxious to play in it. In the early going we had decided on Savage Tide, but I suspect we would all be open to reconsidering if there was more interest in Age of Worms. Ken has been successfully running Savage Tide for a group in South America that recently reached 13th level. That ought to say something about his commitment to the game. There has been a few games hosted on this forum that have come to a close for one reason or another. If you would like to get back into a game, let Ken know. Thegrandoracle's Tegel campaign... Deepcut's Rappan Athuk Reloaded campaign... SgtHulka's Wilderlands: Lost in Lenap campaign... I'm looking at you guys. There are some fun players on this forum. I hope you're interested. Last time we discussed scheduling, Ken and Damien did not want to play on the weekend, and all three of us are engaged in Damien's Red Hand of Doom game on Monday nights. Things may have changed since then. It will of course be up to Ken to decide. We play from 8:30 PM to approximately 11:00 PM (central time) on Monday's and as I recall we were looking at a similar time slot. Ken is travelling through out South America so has a time differential to consider. Fortunately he seems to be able to get on-line at Internet cafes at late hours. I am flexible about day and time. Damien expressed the same sentiment as you, so I know he is anxious to be a player. We started Damien's RHoD game in OpenRPG, but have switched to RPTools (a much more robust piece of software). Both are free ware. I'm uncertain which platform Ken will use. Once he decides, I will be glad to post links to the software and other useful related sites. Ken also started a Yahoo Group for the game (which requires an invite). Games I am... It would likely have to start no earlier than Dec 15th, as I'm doing some stuff in South America that may preclude me getting online regularly. Ideally I'd want us to have 5 players; Savage Tide is pretty difficult in places. I would try to use RPTools, definitely. It seems much better than OpenRPG. Ken

Maybe try contacting former players of Lenap individually...? Weekend might work if it were Sunday night, or every other weekend or something. Weeknight might be better though (other than Monday night). I'm happy with Savage Tide or Age of Worms. I created a kind of swashbuckling PC for the former; if we do the latter, I might go with a different character archetype. As a DM it is fairly robust, with a lot of options available (map building, line of sight, fog, etc.). Line of sight has caused me a few problems in the past, but the rest seems to work okay. The text interface is fine too, and you can type in formulae for whatever kind of dice rolls you want. You can also create your own macros, and tie them to your character's icon, so you can right click on it, then go to the macros list and run it. Makes rolling initiative, doing attacks, etc. easier. You can build in variables to the formulas as well, to insert modifiers on the fly (e.g., for power attacking). Moving your icon around is real easy, so as a player, there should be no issues there. RPTools does not support voice chat, though you could easily use another program like Skype or VOIP to do verbal discussions while using RPTools primarily for mapping and rolls, should the DM desire. There are some excellent tutorials at their website to introduce you to using the software, and you should only need to go through one or two to quickly get up to speed as a player. A couple notes: it is important that everyone runs the same version of RPTools. Also, you may need to set your router to allow the software to communicate in and out directly, or it might prevent a connection. (Not sure how much that was was an issue for the players; as a DM, it certainly was something I had to deal with though, through another tutorial.)
