It has always been Necro's goal to be a "modern day" Judges Guild. Now, with our agreement with Judges Guild, we really are! I have invited Me. Bledsaw to join us here. He is really excited about the online community and is really excited about fan interaction. In fact, a key part of our agreement is that we provide the kind of forum for JG that we have created at Necro. Bob was insistent on that. As you all know, Bill and I are really into fan contact, since we are fans ourselves. Hopefully Mr. Bledsaw will be creating a local login soon and will join us right here. Please lets show Mr. Bledsaw that this is a supportive and active community and join me in saying: Welcome to Bob Bledsaw! It is great to have Judges Guild and Necromancer Games teamed up. And now that most of us have jobs that we never could have had when we started gaming with JG, we can afford to support the NG/JG products. The one thing you may notice about these boards (and something I happily discovered) is there aren't the usual negative or abusive behavior among a few petty individuals that seems to exist on other boards. Everyone here is very much part of an online community that only hopes for the best in the NG products, and now JG products as well. I really believe that in the years to come, folks will revere NG the way they have JG. Of course, we have the Demon Overlords to smack anyone down who gets out of line!

IMO that community spirit is as much a part of "first edition feel" as the Tomb of Horrors and the GDQ series... Shane

You'll find that the regulars on this board are too dang gonzo to get seriously nasty. I think having a lawful good demon prince as a board regular has something to do with it. (The fact a lot of the regulars are certified loo... daddies may be responsible as well.) BTW, my first city adventure was in the original version of The City State of the Invincable Overlord.
