I think he was just suggesting that as a collaborative project it is good form to leave prior work as is and build off of it. Alternatively, make a suggestion (perhaps by PM) for a change in order to accomplish what you would like to do. It may be that some folks are more familiar with the antiquated mapping style that Plaag alluded to in his above post. JG(isms) predate many later conventions for mapping. That's not to say you can't interpret them differently or suggest they be ignored for an idea you have. It might even be useful (albeit redundant) to have to different listings for the same room, so that another Judge reading this thread could have options to pick from. Personally, I think more would get done if that approach was avoided. Perhaps a post with general concepts for the level or a section (I believe I saw a post like that) would avoid "stepping on toes" or engender the collaboration that this thread set out to do in the first place. I'm sure we would all like to see your creativity. Games I am... Posts: 282 Jun 20 08 2:18 AM Ghast Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	What you're supposed to do is choose a letter, any letter, which has not yet been detailed, and detail that. You can extend that to detailing neighbouring un-keyed areas that have not yet been detailed. Note that this can include your own interpretation of the map - the presence or absence of secret doors etc. What you should avoid doing is amending what has already been written, even if you don't agree with it. Area M had been written, so you should have avoided it and done another area - if you wanted a ghoul ambush, fine, put it in a new area.
