Posts: 50 Mar 8 07 3:55 AM Ghoul Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Tags : None The latest Previews (Mar 07 for products shipping in May) features the Tome of Artifacts with a brilliant cover piece (a cthuloid creature looming menacingly over what looks like a dwarf.) This cover could sell a few more copies of the book by itself! It should be posted somewhere on the site, but its nowhere to be found. White Wolf doesn't even have the image, and its offered for pre-sale there. I really think this book deserves more. (I'm not one of the freelancers, just think its gonna be one of 07's best books.) Let's have it, then!

I'd seen the picture before--it's also an interior pic, in B&W--but I had no idea it was going to be used for the cover piece. (Assuming this is more than a mockup, of course.) If you're curious, the creature pictured is called a "phrenic scourge." I originally created them in a PDF product called "The Iconic Bestiary: Classics of Fantasy," which I published through my Lion's Den Press imprint. (They were intended as Open Content replacements for mind flayers, to which they are similar in many respects, but quite different in many others.) Posts: 1599 Mar 23 07 3:25 PM Necromancer Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	i'm confused by the branding -- there doesn't appear to be anythign NECRO about it at all. it looks like a sword and sorcery creature collection and not a necro product? personally, i think necro need more branding and advertising to help promote/sell its products. this is an odd choice to me. the cover LOOKS cool though...
