Okay - I got DMC some time ago, and I'm working on a new campaign that will involve a LOT of nautical adventuring. DMC is AWESOME, and is full of great adventures and ideas - I'm going to be making full use of it.
The one thing that this book doesn't have is rules for ship-to-ship combat. I'm going back to a campaign world that DOES have gunpowder. It's not used much - it's cheaper to rent a magic-user to hurl fireballs and Magic Missiles at enemies, and the key advantage of early-period firearms - their ease of training - don't really come out in D&D rules. So between all that, there's just no significant advantage to using a musket over a heavy crossbow.
ANYWAY - that little tangent aside, I'm looking forward to some really cool nautical ship-to-ship battles, and I was wondering what would be the best book out there for ship combat in D20 rules?
