I like the fact that i need to introduce "hooks" several levels before this module/adventure even begins. The main antagonist even reminds me of an old 1e character I played who became evil and took a serious liking to collecting/using cursed items. So it brought back some fond/wicked memories for me on top of everything else. I'll try to finish reading it over the weekend and let you know what my full/complete opinion is. But right now I am very pleased.

And I never get to play any high-level modules anyway, since I am so stingy with XP. They just keep stacking... Seriously, I find myself wanting to buy almost everything NG puts out these days. Haven't been disappointed with anything NG I own, either (although I'm not altogether sure about Chaos Rising - almost got to play it, but it didn't work out that way). Hat off for the hard-working editors.

There's also the methanohydra that inconveniently belches forth stinking clouds from each head. That could get messy. Otherwise all the monstrous stuff is more or less stock. But requires careful planning on the part of the GM as you have to build the initial events and encounters before the confrontations take place. And you will really being to hate Sess. I mean really hate him. Well done Sess this is something completly different to other things I have got before. If I have any regret it is that there is no Le Blanc art work and thus no Elf or Half Elf babes in it. But the thought that went into what the bad guys will do. Wonderful. Very, very smart. And deadly. I think you're pretty tough don't I

The first thing I noticed is that this module is jam packed with text, hardly any white space to be seen! Gonna take a while to read it, though I have plans for it already.
