[Spoilers below!]
So, my copy finally arrived (along with Shades of Gray) from my LGS, and I've had a bit of a chance to peruse it since it's the holidays.
Unlike most of the other posters in this forum, I found this module to only rate as mediocre, if somewhat disappointing. Some of that is certainly my problem, and not the module's - for example, it's far too short for my taste (I get my short adventure fix from Dungeon: faster, cheaper, and more often than not better). But that's my problem, not Jhedophar's. Another unfortunate coincidence is the 'good wizard falls and becomes a lich' schtick twice in one month (see also Shades of Gray). Oh well.
Overall, though, I did certainly like it. My biggest beef is with the maps - they were not good (though not terrible like a couple of older Necro flubs... at least there's a bloody grid on these). The lack of scale (mentioned in another thread) is a deadly flaw with this adventure - especially since it becomes a bit hard to reconcile with at least one stated measurement in the text.
I also wasn't happy with some of the encounters - they seemed much too weak for a party of 4 15th level adventurers - which would be required to handle Jhedophar and not be totally annihilated.
Finally, there were a couple of stat block issues, but these are easily fixed without a second thought (the aforementioned in a previous thread golem's DR, a caster level omission, etc). While noticeable, they're no biggies at all.
The power play between Exeterus and Jhedophar rocked on toast, though. This makes up for most of the transgressions, and will make this module a total hoot to run/play. Great, great stuff - my hat's off to Casey.
(And I have to say that the cover is one of the best I've seen from any publisher in quite a while. Wow - Rick Sardinha [excellent all the time anyways] captured the essence of the module almost bang-on. Wow - a module cover that covers what the adventure is all about!)
My rating: a strong C+.
