Every NPC stat block is wrong, with the exception of those taken directly from the DMG or MM, and even those are occasionally iffy.
Skills & Feats are the biggest problem; though initiative is occasionally wrong as well. Why is the Jester a Sorcerer? Shouldn't he be a bard? I have a revised version of each stat-block, if you're interested; including the Jester as a bard, and a rewritten version of the fur armour & gloves which makes them work more in line with the 3rd edition rules. Cheers! Merric, the Dreamer-Minstrel

Skills & Feats: Climb +16; Intimidate +4; Jump +16; Cleave; Great Cleave; Improved Critical (hand axe); Improved Initiative; Iron Will; Power Attack; Quick Draw; Sunder; Toughness; Weapon Focus (hand axe); Weapon Specialization (hand axe). Possessions: Fur armor of envelopment; +2 handaxe of wounding. Skills for double-checking Skills: (Points Spent, Ranks, Attribute, Other) Climb +16 (13, 13, 3 str) Intimidate +4 (13, 6.5 (cc), -2 cha) Jump +16(13, 13, 3 str) skill points: (2 ftr +1 human) * 13 = 39. changes: creature type, hit dice, hit points, feats, skills, initiative, attacks. Note: most of my changes will increase NPC hit points, as they are pretty much below average. Change as you will. (I've also got alternative versions of the fur armor of envelopment, which fits d20 system rules better, but it's not strictly errata, so I'll omit it here). Cheers! Merric, the Dreamer-Minstrel

Heya Merric, good to see you here. Was this the stuff you were going to send to me off-board, or was that something else?

This is it.
I'll forward you what I've done so far now - alas, a computer crash (not a big one) killed some of my work, but I'll be able to fix it soon. Cheers! Merric, the Dreamer-Minstrel

This looks so much like a typo, I have to ask if this needs errata:
M2, page 21, key 11A, second paragraph (describing the picture in Baal's bedchambers): touching it does *324* points of damage, no save? That is such a strange number, and so high, that I have to wonder if it's a typo. Clark, do you know?? |

Has to be a typo.

Found an actual error this time. In M2, page 24, Baal's spell list, he is listed as knowing Mordenkainen's lubrication, which is meaningless for sorcerors. Referees should substitute another 6th-level arcane spell (in my case, disintegrate, for that spell.

One actual "game-stopper" in Maze3: page 10, area 14. GAME ROOM.
The Corner Table has a box (of the Dune variety) which induces various sensations in those placing their hands in it. You have to make Will saves at various negative modifiers to keep your hand within. No DC is listed for the Will saves. I advise making the DC = to 12 + modifier *2 and ignoring the modifiers. Thus a modifier of -4 makes a DC of 20; a modifier of 0 gives a DC of 12. (Don't even get me started about the skills of the pre-gen Rogue!) Cheers! Merric, the Dreamer-Minstrel

Hey KCC---just checked in the original CU MoZ, and it's 3-24 D not 324....

LOL! That makes a lot more sense. Thanks--the guys haven't hit that part of M2 yet.

Re: Maze of Zayene Errata | ||

MoZ 1 encounter #3 has a stone golem, but claims the HD is 11d10...the MM says 14d10. also the HP shown are 60 but the MM says 77. the info appears to be stats for a Clay golem rather than the stone golem that looks like King Ovar. |

MoZ #1 encounter #6 | ||

Displacer Beast CR should be 4 not 6
Owlbear HP show 47 in MM not 70 (this is max HP for owlbear). I've decided to add 20-25% extra HP to these monsters because they are in they "trophies". I was too lazy to add extra str and update. |
