Any suggestions?
They are on a quest to get rid of Tund Dust they picked up from The Silver Summoning. It seemed to me to be a perfect match - the sphere will destroy the dust & the dust will destroy the sphere!
Here's the scoop, the group just finished a conversion of the old I3-5 Desert of Desolation. Martek set them down near the edge of the desert at a mountain range. The Tund Dust bearer has been told via an oracle to seek out Crane's Tower. They will get information from the small trading town at the Desert Edge Oasis and travel to the tower (I plan on using the free download as well).
The party consists of three players with two characters each:
a human Ranger/Battleblade scion level 6/2
a gnome Illusionist/Rogue level 7/1
an elf Fighter/Rogue level 4/4
an elf Cleric/Wizard level 6/2
an elf Fighter (bow specialist) level 8
and a half-elf sorceress level 8
They tend to "tread where angels fear to tread" with a mixture of playing styles (think a group of Han Solo, Captain Kirk, and Columbo). Two of the PCs are immune to poison from magic items to boot.
Any hints about how others have handled the adventure would be enjoyable to read.
