Posts: 3869 Feb 19 11 9:46 PM Dark Walker of the Planes Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I finally, finally, finally got my family Scarred Lands game going. They made their characters up like 2-3 years ago for this. The first session was tonight. Titanspawn, reputedly kobolds, have been raiding merchants on the trade road. The heroes have set off into the caves which is said to be the monster's lair. Although their rogue was knocked out for a couple of rounds from a poison needle trap, the heroes have triumphed in their first major battle vs. the kobolds. At the end everyone immediately wanted to set up a date for the next session, so I'm pretty sure everyone had fun. I really enjoyed running a game for my brothers and sisters. It's the first "family only" game we've played in since I was in like 4th grade. I was also happy that I did ok considering I'd only had like 2 1/2 hours sleep last night. Unfortunately for the heroes, now that they've found the secret door that leads down to the second level, which is the kobold's stronghold, things will only get worse.

I have a beautiful daughter that though she is a bit adrift right now...still brings me much joy. I have two wonderful dogs that bring me joy...when not destroying something! I have a job that allows me to have some scraps in order to fund my own creative endeavors. (The contracts, deals and deadlines have been a bear) but the act of productive creativity has not only fed my mind but given my spirit something to yearn for. I am learning to take much of my negative emotions and express them in constructive ways. There are many helpful freelancers helping me along the way that though they accept peanuts in payment have been priceless in value. I only wish I had the money to pay them what they deserve! For the first time in life, I feel my head is on straight and my goals, motives, values and life are all moving in the right direction. The fact that the before mentioned head/goals/motives/values/life seem so diametrically opposite to what is popular and accepted in todays world confirms I am finally on the right track! Also, you might want to check your Epic Dungeons thread - there have been a few replies, in case you haven't seen them. DT, I remember Storn's art in some of my Champions books. Mostly the Dark Champions stuff, as I recall? He was also doing a graphic novel on a sword-and-sorcery site in 2006 or so before it went dark. He has an identifiable style. On the Green Ronin website find the Atomic Think Tank find the Drawing Board. There is also a thread on ENWorld. The bonus on the Champions website is if you find a post by Myrlyn in the last 50 or so pages of the thread there sre zip files that have the ones that have been removed. And why am I posting here ? The fact that they beat the other team on goal difference alone is just gravy. And Arsenal came third so they automatically get Champions League football despite anything Chelsea may do next week. Tottenham however have to hope that Chelsea lose next week. I think you're pretty tough don't I

These are Olympic level athletes, they should be above that kind of stuff.
