Posts: 3869 Jan 28 09 1:23 PM Dark Walker of the Planes Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Well my old 30 GB Ipod that I had gotten through Circuit City was down to less than half of its original battery life after nearly 2 years. I had the store warranty so I sent it out to be replaced at the start of this month. After waiting for almost 3 weeks they sent me a gift card for the purchase price. Since Circuit City is going out of business and all of the area stores have long since sold their Ipod classics, that didn't do me any good. Today I got word that I could cash out my gift card. So after doing that I went to another store and got a brand new 120 GB Ipod classic. Sweet! My old one was full with just music (I ended up deleting the photos I had on there so that I could squeeze on a couple more albums). With this one I should be able to put on all of my music collection if I want to. Plus have space for videos and pics. I am one happy Sen! btw, at Circuit City I found out that the replacement center has switched to sending out checks rather than gift cards -- I sent mine out just a bit to early to benefit from that. Hopefully I'll have some things to celebrate and post about in the coming weeks, and especially with in the next 17 months, when the Congressional Investigation ends. The only things we are celebrating right now is our refinancing our mortgage and my daughter qualifying for the Pell Grant for college.

So between this and a hefty tax return we'll be paying off nearly $9,000 in debts by May. So combine that with saving $200/month from the refinance, our 5% COLA increase on our benefits, after May we will have about $700 of more financial breathing room each month.
