So what music (if any) are you listening to at the moment? Just curious.

As I'm surfing the net and visiting the good ol' Necro boards tonight I'm listening to Bob Marley and the Wailers "Burnin'" cd.
So what music (if any) are you listening to at the moment? Just curious. |

A song by Yes. Don't remember the name of it, but it has the phrase "leave it" in the chorus.

I'm listening to the voices in my head ... they're telling me to do the "evil things" again. I suppose I should get started on that then ...

Sen: "Priest = Aura" is one pf my all time favorite CDs, along with their Starfish CD.
As I type this Morphines The Night just ended and the White Stripes newest CD just started, got it the other day and this is my first time listening to it, though I own a few of their CDs "I've been called worse things by better people." Pierre Trudeau

It's been literally months since I've been able to get Blue Oyster Cult's Fire of Unknown Origin and Uriah Heep's Demons and Wizards out of the rotation on my CD changer.

Quote: The song is indeed called "Leave It," from 90125. (Which is the first record I ever heard on compact disc, way back in 1984.) This morning I've been listening to Bad Religion and The Mars Volta. |

The man is a little crazy, but he makes walls of sound using found sound items, mostly metal and plastic things stolen from factories and scrap yards. |

Damnit, KCC! I've been trying to get that riff out of my head for weeks, finally did it in the last couple days, and now it's stuck there again!

Hey GrayPumpkin, glad to see I'm not the only fan of the Church here on the boards. Yeah, Starfish is also my fav album by them, followed by "Gold Afternoon Fix."
"Priest = Aura", though, is a wonderful cd for late evening ambience. If you haven't checked out any of their newer stuff, I'd recommend "after everything now this" and "magician among the spirits". I bought the Aussie remastered imports of some of their older cds, and I recently gave my old copy of "Heyday" to my brother. He likes classic art-rock like Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, etc. so I'm curious if he'll also get into the Church. Not listening to anything tonight, I've got a friggin' headache. |

Ther are a few band i want to share with yah.
Sonny Landreth: a guy out of New Orlens who has a slide style that is so advanced that i have seen him live 20 feet from the stage and still have a hard time understandfing just how he gets that sound out of ther. Victor Wooten: this is a man who can play a bass so well he is called the man with 8 arms. some of you might remeber him as he played that the Olimpic games. he came into springfeild not that long ago and was just crazy-funk Arogant Worms: there a band out of Canada(not just the USA hat anymore) who have jokeing style about them and do song's like "Carrote Jucie is Murder" and "Forgive us where Canadian" very fun light hearted and orginale music. Ghoast in the Shell Stand alone Complex OST: just a master work bu Yoko Kano, a full mix of fast pumping techno to soft obsession love songs that make you pause when you look up what there really saying For most i would say go out and take a look at Sonny thoe...this is a guy who Erich Calapton look at and thinks "What was that". good for rock and blues. "Bigger, Harder, Scarier" what Laurell K. Hamilton worte to me after we spoke

the Church "magician among the spirits plus some" cd. Put it in my player last night after posting, and I never bothered to take it out.
That's a pretty common phenomena. Sometimes I'll listen to the same damn cd 3 days in a row 'cause I'm too lazy to take it out and put it away. |

I'm listening to Painkiller, by Judas Priest right now. Just decided I hadn't heard it in a while, and it needs to flow into my ears.
