She comes from the heart of the Amedio Jungle. The grugach are a xenophobic lot, with a special hatred for bullywugs and the strangely colored goblins of the jungle. They are more tolerant of the Olman tribes. Ordinarilly the grugach avoid civilized areas like Sasserine, however, Alda Cabor is on a mission for her mistress, Eandarrial, a Seeker of the Misty Isle. Alda Cabor is charged with acting as eyes and ears for the order on the Vanderboren expedition. More particularly, she is to guide Roongshri on his way to eligibility as a member of the order. Amella is rather foul-mouthed, fond of uttering oaths only heard in the worst dockside taverns. Confident, haughty, and astute, she does not suffer fools gladly. She is a widow; her former husband was betrayed and murdered by a group of shifty gnomes led by a treacherous cur named Shortstone Badgewell -- it was this cruel gnome who murdered her husband. This event has left Amella with a poor opinion of gnomes. He carries the odor of the land about with him, an odor that most find not too pleasant. He is talkative and chipper except when the subject of the natural world comes up, whereupon he flies into a frenzy of excited stuttering bliss, expounding upon obscure, and often strangely fascinating (to him, at least) bits of lore. Urol has a strange fascination with poisonous creatures, and his nerve - wracking collection of spiders and snakes (now drowned sadly!) was often the subject of whispered talk on the Sea Wyvern. Posts: 156 Feb 27 11 9:14 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Per request, I've med icons/macros for a few of more prominent Farshore NPCs and the Jade Ravens for when their groups die or disband: Lord Manthalay, Kaskus Kiel (and giant croc), Liamae, Tolin, Zan, Prof. HA, and Malfus (although this one is really just a PH for the bardsong radius). I'll need to copy some of the macros already made off of Zan and Liamae, as well as true-up the spell lists. I did not build Redfoot, Dranys, Tehrik, Jeran because they are already doomed or ineffectual. Also, Lavinia, Vesserin, Amella, Alda, Urol since they already have icons.

Posts: 12033 Mar 10 11 9:12 PM Vampire Scion Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Further Lavinia notes: She currently has the +1 keen cold iron kukri on loan from the party (1d4+1 damage, 15-20/x2 threat) She has grace +1 (grants +1 on Reflex saves) and the swashbuckler +1 dodge bonus that works just like the standard Dodge feat (declare vs. single opponent each round) She has Tumble +16, giving her auto success on her first two tumble checks in a round to get by a foe (DC 15 and 17). Her other skills are unknown at this point, though I expect a decent Diplomacy! Improved flanking gives her +4 to hit rather than +2 when flanking. Acrobatic charge allows her to charge through allies' spaces and difficult terrain. Ken is gracious in giving her these abilities, since they are obtained at Swashbuckler levels 7 and 8, and she is a Swa6/Ari2. I wish I'd kept better track of what we sold to whom in Farshore. I bet we sold some bracers or armor or something that would have been better than her nonmagical leather armor! Too late now, of course.

I believe that Mike and Mark (Ossic and Volreff's players) levelled all of them. Right? And the Jade Ravens, Amella, and the Bard all gain an additional tick mark from the encounter with Emraag the Glutton. Ken
