I recently DMed the Chaos Rising module with several modification to fit in my 4e campaign. Despite the several issues discussed in the forums, we all loved it (the players but me too). It was the first Necromancer games product we ever bought (actually we had bought it a few years ago but had never run it for several reasons) and I think its atmosphere was great. I understand why some DMs disliked it, as it doesn't allow players much freedom if u play 100% by the book. I -as a DM- don't do that, I always allow my players to do whatever they want and try to find a way not to ruin the adventure but also satisfy the player. Anyway, it really felt like the good old AD&D days 12 years ago (when I played my first session), so I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on other modules similar when it comes to the atmosphere, the plot. I especially liked the variety that the adventure offered (encounters, riddles, room for RP - skill challenges, rich plot, in-depth descriptions, traps). I basically dislike straight hack 'n slash adventures, or short ones with no depth. I also like adventures where PCs do not know who to trust or adventures with twists. Anyway, I say all this to give u a rough idea of what I m looking for, I checked online several reviews and there appear to be several modules but don't know which one to choose. If anyone can suggest sth, I d be grateful
