Description:
Ion’s normal appearance passes almost unnoticed on the streets. He is just "one of those elves." He carries a finely made falchion slung on his back; with tassels on the hilt made of intricate knots in red ribbon. A fine chain shirt sits under a plain cloak, and a simple areana-style short sword hands from his wide belt. When Ion is fighting, he wears a distinctive helmet. The helm is faced with a white mask, and decorated with delicate red swirls.

Then a girl caught his fancy, but he didn't stir her heart. Then the girl became a damsel in distress. Some minor underworld figure had kidnapped her. Ion lost his focus, and he was unable to continue his studies. He wandered the streets; long days and nights searching the City turned up no trace of the girl, but he would not relent. His life had not prepared him for searching the streets, or gathering clues, or even for the general conversation skills that were needed to make his way in the city. He was growing more frustrated each day, and his easy smile was often replaced by a scowl. He sometime found himself pushing his way through the crowds, using his strength to plow through. The thought that the search was changing him occurred frequently, but he always pushed it away, telling himself that he would be fine once Lily was safe. He was wrong. He and some other adventurers rescued Lily, but they were both different now. They had grown apart in the short time, and Ion took a job as a guard on one of the many local ships. He was seeking an escape, but he found destruction as the ship was burned in Kaken Cove.
Personality:
Once Ion was a rising star of the arena and with potential in both Zelkarune's Horns and the Witchwardens. The mis-adventure of his failed love has depressed him, and he hopes some freah sea air will snap him out of the sadness.
