I heard that PH3 will have Ki and Psionics (With Dark Sun as the setting) and PH4 will have Elemental and Shadow. Has anyone else heard this?

I can't speak with anything more but conjecture, but I could see Ki and Psionics being merged into one force. In theory, you could get Psionicist, Psychic Blade, and Monk right there. And maybe...a stretch, but the Illusionist? I've had a suspicion that psionics would return since reading in Open Grave that "some undead continue to exist due to psionic power." Could be just a random throw-away, but maybe not. I think that psionics could do well in the current powers framework. 3e tried too hard to make it something different from magic, and ended up encumbering the game with yet another system. Assassin core would be nice, too.

"With the dew of their creation still wet upon their brows, the wilden emerge from the Feywild's unspoiled reaches, from ancient bogs and primeval forests. Awakened to combat the growing corruption plaguing the lands, they shoulder the burden of restoring the natural order and purging the aberrant horror from the world.

So they are reimaging the Killoren from races of Wild. Instead of arising from nature to combat the growth of civilazation the new version is known as the Wilden and they now arise to combat the growing influence of the Far Realm on the world. http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/drfe/20090420

Unlike multiclassing in which you dip your toes in a 2nd class hybrid characters are really half and half. They start out at first level with some (but not all) abilities from both classes they choose. There is going to be a 2nd playtest article for hybrid characters in Dragon tomorrow. The April Article is here: http://www.wizards.com/de...rfe/20090406
