So, I've got a pretty solid Shades of Gray campaign in progress (4E, Wilderlands setting), which my players are really enjoying, and I'm starting to
look towards the end of the campaign. It's still some way off (we're on Chapter 4), but I'd like to be able to weave an extension seamlessly into
the story, so I need some time.
I think Chapter 11 will be a bit of an anti-climax considering the length of time we will have been playing. The characters should be in the mid-teen levels by the end and I have visions of taking them further, maybe all the way to 30th level. I could just start something else to get them into the epic levels, but I'd rather build on the existing story.
The question is, how to continue things after the Gray Death is dealt with? I have some vague thoughts revolving around Orcus, as there are at least a couple of links (Chapters 7 and 10) but nothing definite. I was wondering if anyone else had any ideas?
