Dark Cavern Under The Spire
What is the fate of Retrieval Team Seven? They found the missing adventurers - and the Great Lava Island with the drow. They escaped the drow, only to come across the Mad One's Winches. There the drow found them. Now the screech of tortured, ancient metal echoes in the measureless cavern beneath Ptolus' spire. What will they find when the ride stops?

A D&D adventure for 7 PCs set underneath Ptolus. Characters will be provided. (Priority slots given to prior players.) Friday 1-5 (6 if needed), offgrid, at open gaming area.

Air Strive Five: V for Vegetables
You're small, you're mighty, and you're faen. After defeating the darklings, it's time to get on the road to Ptolus. Shame that the humans in the first big town are insulting. And have lots of vegetables!

Don't know which kids will be, though. At least my youngest. Looks like my daughter won't be able to go, she is in college starting the 18th to finish her associates. In the spring she should be ready to transfer to U of AZ.

Anyone know the likelihood of still being able to book a Con rate room? I'm not concerned about events. I figure I'll just hook up with folks for pick-up games or finagle my way into a few. I have holidays in August and it turns out I'll be able to fly down this year for the first time. Woot! *does happy dance*

i have to be there for stupid and completely mindless meetings regarding the athletic handbook. i registered in february, this is just the day that im supposed to be there to attain keys to my dorm. yay me.

Ah, athletics. I didn't do those in college, I went to college AFTER the Navy, so I was too old, plus I was disabled by then too. My kids are doing their first two years at a local community college, not much of a athletics program there. Maybe they'll get into something when they transfer to Un. of AZ.

I ordered my badge today, so I'm a step closer to being there. I still have to take care of the hotel and flight.

Does anyone know if MacPhail and Wycen will be going this year?

Well, 3 years is a long time! I haven't heard about MacPhail or Wycen's plans. I've also been wondering about Michael P. and his wife, as well as a couple of others whose names I am completely blanking on right now. Grrrrr...

Snoring Rock - what's your event schedule look like for the two days you'll be at GC? Did you manage to snag any tickets for any of the games I'm running?

SR, Cassandra (and any others that are interested) - are you all still interested in an off-grid game Saturday after the dealer hall closes and supper, like we did last year? I've got a couple of different things in mind if getting together for some unofficial gaming is still a possibility. Naturally it will be AD&D 1st Edition.
