Well, I've reviewed the pertinant rules, and I think you're right Frau Blucher. When you roll a 1-4 you drop your weapon and fall in your hex. So there's a clear indication that hand to hand combatants are prone. Further, the goblin example says as much.

This causes a complication. Deepcut asked me about this before he picked up the bow and I gave him the wrong answer. So, to be fair, we can do either of the following:

1) We can proceed as we currently have it played, with frack not having to stand up (already being considered to be standing), and just chalk it up to the referee screwing up...

-or-

2) We can retcon to Frick picking up the bow. Deepcut can decide to keep the bow, or may decide to take another legal action in Turn 5. To be fair, of course, Frau may also change his move action in Turn 6 if Deepcut decides to chang Frack's turn 5 action.

That was my original belief. However, you pointed out I was wrong in my interpretation, and in Post 126 I admitted that error and I outlined a few of the consequences the new "correct" ruling would have on the game going forward. One of those consequences is that any move from unengaged to engaged would be a charge. The "loophole" of moving one hex was closed.

Knowing that you can't engage without charging, go ahead and post a new initiative decision and/or movement.

EDIT: Post 126 contains a typo. It should read "any movement from disengaged to engaged", not vice versa. I clarified this later in the thread.

Thanks, DC, but MFB has to re-do his initiative decision and his move, so you may hae to re-do yours as well.
