The rider grabs a waterskin from their saddlebag and over to Ameane. A leather gloved hand with leaves pressed into the back extends to her with the
waterskin. "Here, take this, I have plenty for myself." From the closer distance, the bardess can see feminine
features to the rider's face. The rider looks up at the sky, then adjusts the wraps around her head and face so she can take a drink from her own
waterskin. The few hanging metal circlets jingle against one another.
As the folds of the desert wraps move, Ameane can see an elvish rapier and mithril buckler hanging on the rider's hip. Reaching in the sleeve of the
wraps, a rat crawls out and looks around before scurrying up inside the cloths to peek out near the neck. With a slight bow, "I am
Olyx Semias, a hidden wanderer to the sand raiders and soldiers of the red sultan. This is my friend, Gregory," she pats the rat's head near
her neck with a couple fingers, "and my rather ominous looking mount is Uryn, but he's actually a real sweety. We are at your
service, and if you wish out of this god-forsaken land, I suggest moving before the heat grows and the winds blow." The female rider's voice
is mid-range in tone and pitch, never faltering as she speaks, and holds a distant accent that could be best described as a faint mix-match (for example,
speaking Gregory as Gre-GORE-ee, and land as l-AHN-d).

Elkan chuckles as he descends. "Whatever treasures our foes do not possess, Deadeye shall craft from their remains! Grab some
extra pieces for your crafting as we all appreciate your art." Once on firm ground at the base of the ladder, Elkan scans the
surrounding area for possible threats and then looks northward for signs of a cracked stone.

Eklan looks north, and far down the stony outcroppings the group so recently was escorted through by Ilona. He sees where the sand meets the stone, several
tilted slabs that rise above the rest. The shade stands long along the slab, and easily could be perceived as a gigantic sundial, an archaic hint to civilized
ways in an otherwise inhospitable environment. Behind him, Deadeye finds sufficient pieces to fashion small shovels or trowels from the remains within the
A dry wind begins to swirl the lightest sands up into the air, and captures some of Ubagesh's dust. The sandwhirls behave as if they carried the spirits
of small children, and as they combine, the group can't help but think they see Ubagesh's outline beckoning them to follow. Perhaps, a trick of the
eyes, a residual strain of their recent ordeal, the growing sting of the desert's unrelenting heat, or some latent magic within his remains, it is
uncertain as to why the deceased form had appear to them, yet a reminder of his plea.

The mage's concern is hidden beneath the coverings as Ameane speaks of her ordeal, and rubs at her finger at mention of being marked. "Myself, my spellbook, and my teachings are counted, with my abilities with the sword, in the service of the Seldarine. Although not an elf, I
find myself best-suited to their life." Olyx listens as her human body walks alongside Uryn, pushing at the sand with his paddle-like feet.
Gregory peeking out from beneath the shrouds near Olyx's neck. Metal pieces tinkling lightly as they walk. "I wander, and
honestly... the Red Sultan is a bit obscure to me still, but the sand warriors have ways of being chaotic and good in their ways - not all of them though, as
with any group. As for the terrain, giant vermin and denizens of hidden caverns are often about wandering the sands as well..."
