Re: Guy Lafleur présenté par Viggo Mortensen  (reply)
Liked how they played last night, despite the SO loss. We need Krejci back badly. We'd always hear about our depth, but we've got fake depth. When we have all of our lines playing, we get contributions from all of the lines to some...

Re: Guy Lafleur présenté par Viggo Mortensen  (reply)
Hey dav, The Chicago game was a tough lost. I thought overall, they played decent. They dominated the second half of the game I thought. I agree on the Seids hit. He was definitely trying to get to the side of Toews and it wasn't...

Re: Guy Lafleur présenté par Viggo Mortensen  (reply)
Chicago was a tough game against a tough team, but I did like how the Bruins attacked in the 3rd. Didn't see any issues with the Seidenberg hit on Toews that would be anything more than 2 minutes. Toews didn't brace for the hit, and he...

Re: Guy Lafleur présenté par Viggo Mortensen  (reply)
It looks like Big Z will be back tonight vs. the Blackhawks. A much anticipated return that should help big time. Krejeci looks to be close too so hopefully this will help the B's turn it around. They still need to make a move for a...

Re: Guy Lafleur présenté par Viggo Mortensen  (reply)
I'm still a bit surprised in that Klinkhammer really is a 3rd line or even 4th line guy. I know his possession numbers / CORSI is pretty good but it surprises they'd give up on a fairly high D-Man prospect for a 3rd liner at best but...

I think Samuelsson fell behind Dumoulin, Harrington, and Pouliot, and it doesn't hurt that his brother players for Arizona too. Turns out, Chirelli wasn't at the *Chicago* game per se.....apparently he was there to scout St. Louis instead?

Agreed - Chia pet will need to trade roster players if he's going to take on salary. Edmonton is big on Lucic but I'd be surprised if they'd trade Hall. I love his game but I agree with you where he's a bit oblivious on the ice. Also,...

Re: Guy Lafleur présenté par Viggo Mortensen  (reply)
Not sure what we can do to get cap casualties unless there's a 3rd team involved (maybe that's where Edmonton fits in)? Dupont was suggesting Lucic, Subban, and a 1st for Taylor Hall, but I don't think I'd do it. I don't trust Hall to...

Re: Guy Lafleur présenté par Viggo Mortensen  (reply)
Yeah - I watched the first period. They actually played decent and were up 2-0 when I went to bed. They end up losing 7-4 - I guess the fell apart after the 1st. I heard that about Chara also and hopefully he does get back. That'll...

Re: Guy Lafleur présenté par Viggo Mortensen  (reply)
Well....10:30pm starts make not watching last night's game much easier Rumors are that Chara *may* return for the Chicago game on Thursday. Good sign that both he and Krejci are both skating without issues. Saw them talking about...

Re: Guy Lafleur présenté par Viggo Mortensen  (reply)
Pastrnak looks like a keeper.  It may be a little bit early for him though as he got his 'welcome to the NHL' type game vs. the Kings.  They were drilling him.  I agree that the B's 'toughness' definitely takes a hit without Chara and...

Re: Guy Lafleur présenté par Viggo Mortensen  (reply)
Loss of Krejci is hurting them more than Chara, I agree. CJ's system allows us to plug in dmen to a degree, but no Chara, McQuaid, and Boychuk mean we are missing a lot of muscle in front of the next. Like to see Pastrnak in the lineup,...

Re: Guy Lafleur présenté par Viggo Mortensen  (reply)
Agreed dav on the first one. The closest ref has the best view and gets overruled by the guys by the blue line was my issue with that call. Both of the non-goals could have gone either way I thought but the logistics of that first one...

Re: Guy Lafleur présenté par Viggo Mortensen  (reply)
I haven't watched replays of the non-goals, but I had heard the main issue was that the first one was one of those where it would be hard to overturn the call either way. The closest referee ruled it a goal, but the other 3 officials...

Well, it wouldn't be a Pens-Bruins game without some controversy. It looked like both no-goal calls were the right calls; there didn't seem to be conclusive evidence to overturn either one. I can relate to the no-goals, as I can relate...

I was wondering when they'd trot out Koko.  I was yelling at Claude to do so and when I saw Krug come out before him, I wasn't thrilled.  Also, why didn't he use Frasier.  Allegedly he's got the best shot on the team... It's going to get...

Koko and Trotman recalled from Providence. Guessing Koko is a "just in case" if Krejci has any issues in warmups at Columbus tonight. Wonder what the D pairs will look like with McQuaid out. I think Morrow has outplayed Trotman so far,...
