Re: Guy Lafleur présenté par Viggo Mortensen  (reply)
A win is a win and they needed the 2 points desperately. I think Krejeci summed it up well in saying they've lost the 'killer instinct". Also, the fact that they can't win at home is really troubling and the continued 'pablum' of what...

Not exactly a work of art last night, but I'll take the 2 points! No matter what other flaws this team has, it's the lack of a reliable 2nd pairing D that is killing the team. My normal inclination would be to label this team...

If the B's lost that Columbus game, I vowed not to watch again this year. Especially after the lead goal at the time was disallowed by Marchand. The hockey gods triumph again. I'm shocked they didn't call that second Philly goal...

Enjoyed the 'amazing' Columbus game on Saturday....thank goodness we snuck out with 2 points. Glad I chose to park at the Garden, barely had any snow on my car the next morning. Back to back starts tonight in Philly, need to beat this...

Yay - the B's beat the Habs for the second time this year at the Bell Center. It's about time. As a Bruins fan, I can't say I'm upset as the Habs continue to slide down the standings with Therien getting 'emotional'. Rask played well...

How the mighty have tanked! Habs all the way down to 6th place in the 8 team division and out of the playoffs at this point. Montreal did carry the play in the 2nd and had more shots, but Rask was on his game again and made some quality...

Looks like both Krejeci and Pasta will be made the trip to Montreal. This really would be a big win for the B's if they can get their collective heads out of their a$$e$ when it comes to playing that team. I think the B's make the...

2 W's this weekend, albeit against the dregs of the division. Checking the standings today to see the hated Habs in 5th in the division, barely holding onto the 8th playoff seed in the conference by 1 point over the MFB Penguins (who...

They are playing decent but no results. Kevin Miller finally had a decent game (the first of the New Year I'd say). Chara's offensive instincts aren't very good. While Ferraro should have circled back, this is the 3rd time within the...

Another game and fairly competitive one too, yet the same result. Chara doing his Ference impression, with an ill-timed pinch leading to the Simmons goal. To be fair, Ferraro should have circled back instead of trying to play the puck as...

LOL - I watched the alumni game on NBCSN. It was a fun game (Jay Miller taking a puck to the face was business as usual). Too funny about the Chris Nilan thing. Although I guess he's been playing a lot in charity events so maybe not...

I had lots of fun at the Winter Classic....and then the game started!  Alumni game was great as well. We had a great back and forth with the Habs fans in front of us, especially when it went to the shootout. It was tied after the first 3...

That debacle that was the Winter Classic still has me scratching my head. Dav, you must have had a lot of fun during that one. B's are struggling a bit right now although really other than the Buffalo and Montreal game, they have...

Dav - enjoy the days. The Alumni game was fun to watch and Recchi can still shoot the puck (as can Kovelev). The Marchand thing was just a dumb play on his behalf that he didn't need to do. Thankfully no one was hurt on the play. It...

Well, that Ottawa game was exciting to be at #understatement! Too bad about the Marchand play....we need him with Krejci out, B's sent down CMiller (waiver exempt) and brought Koko up, and I will look forward to wearing my winter...

I wonder if the Dubinsky incident and no one coming to Sid's defense has impacted him. Normally he's pretty feisty and these two games looks like he doesn't give a whit...Sullivan is a decent coach but if the team has quit already, this...

Hey, guys, sorry about being AWOL the last week or so. Hah, ha, dav, I think DCG tried to trade me for a couple of six packs, and having failed the physical, I got the LTIR treatment! Ugly losses right now. I wish I understood it, Dax,...

A solid win by the B's last night. Mr. Frau, wow - the Pens look like dead man walking right now. Even Sid the Kid looks uninspired. This team looks to be uninterested and going through the motions. I know some of the injuries play...

Wasn't an aesthetically pleasing affair last night, but it did have its moments. Thought Zatkoff played pretty well, and Rask was a wall in net. Pens fans must have loved it when Max "Game 7" Talbot had the short side snipe into the top...

So Dark City Games is putting MFB on LTIR to save some cap dollars? Penguins called up Matt Murray to replace MAF, and he's been tearing it up in the AHL since last season. Whoever they choose for tonight, bet they go back to him on...
