Re: Guy Lafleur présenté par Viggo Mortensen  (reply)
Yes - the B's played pretty well. Considering they are only one of four teams to win after the bye week, I'm not going to complain. That was a great play for the game winner. I stayed up and am still paying the price now - lol. My...

Re: Guy Lafleur présenté par Viggo Mortensen  (reply)
Thought they played well against SJ, though I only caught the first 2 periods. They did a good job holding SJ to that one flukey bounce goal to Marleau, though I did get nervous while they were trading chances during a 5min window during...

Re: Guy Lafleur présenté par Viggo Mortensen  (reply)
Well, B's come out after their break and play a pretty solid road game vs. San Jose and come out with two points. Hopefully they can keep winning. As teams have been catching up in games, the B's have been fortunate in that no one has...

Re: Guy Lafleur présenté par Viggo Mortensen  (reply)
Right - it's Ground Hog's day. Montreal has those pieces that Claude likes: great goalie and stud D-Man. It remains to be seen how much different than they are under Therien as those two I think like similar systems with defense first...

Weird part is that the Habs have done this dance before in 2003, firing Therien and hiring Claude to replace him

Yeah - you were correct in that prediction. I really can't see how one can coach the B's for 10 years, get fired and in the same season coach the Habs. Very strange...

Oh boy....Therien fired...and Claude hired! Bruins apparently granted permission at some point on Sunday - let me guess, so Jacobs could save some $$$ on the remaining contract for CJ

Well at least you saw a pretty nice thumping! Good to know about Frog God possibly releasing on that platform. That's another good thing to take into consideration. Yeah Sakic and 2 scouts were scouting that game. Very interesting....

Big win last night, though I had to leave with 10min to brave the elements to catch the last train home. Walking was terrible, some sidewalks just complete sheets of ice. Had to trample through snow so much, felt like I was auditioning...

Re: Guy Lafleur présenté par Viggo Mortensen  (reply)
Well, I guess you had reason not to worry about Sunday. It wasn't much of a game and the B's trounced the hated Habs and the mug of a face of Therien. Three games into the Cassidy experiment and they have played for the most part...

Re: Guy Lafleur présenté par Viggo Mortensen  (reply)
I've only been a player on Roll20, but it's been good for the most part. Figuring out some of the macro stuff makes things easier, though the DM can create these and "push" them to players (or just some of the players). For example, I...

Nice win last night. They came out with a lot of energy which was good to see. At least one goal was questionable definitely that Tuukka gave up. I wonder if they'll rest him Saturday. He really does not look right for some reason -...

Well, that game got the team off to a good start. Was following the game online but we had a Roll20 game session last night so I didn't actually see the game. Sounds like Rask gave up 2 questionable goals, but other than that not much to...

Re: Guy Lafleur présenté par Viggo Mortensen  (reply)
Only issue is that Cehlarik isn't a great skater and Cassidy wants to push the pace. Will be interesting to see how the lines shake out, since they've been switched around every day since the change. Think things will bode well for...

Re: Guy Lafleur présenté par Viggo Mortensen  (reply)
I heard that. Therien has been on the hot seat for the last 2 or 3 years. I can't stand the guy to be honest but he's a decent coach. I hope Claude doesn't go back to Montreal. I find that would be kind of difficult to do so early...

DMiller, lol - had Miller on the brain.....meant DMoore. Nash too, both have value on the bottom 6 and on the PK. Glad I don't have the tickets to tonight's game, which is apparently going to happen because SJ doesn't come east again...

Agreed dav - sell, sell, sell. You can add guys like Nash and even Moore (who has played well and will have some value). If you can dump Krejeci I'd even be possibly open to that. It's time to let the young kids play. Who is DMiller...

CJ firing seemed inevitable. I think the team should have made the playoffs 2 years ago, but I thought last year and this year were a crapshoot. They should not be buyers at the trade deadline. Sell on Liles, DMiller, McQuaid and/or...

Well, the Bruins finally axe Claude. They announce it on the day of the Patriots' parade and schedule the press conference right smack dab in the middle of the parade. WTH is that? This team needs a jolt and maybe that will be it. I...

Another slow start but then they played overall pretty well. Colin Miller has been playing well. Definitely encouraging to see. With Carlo; C. Miller and the guys in the pipeline, their D-Corps will eventually be pretty darn good if...
