Re: Guy Lafleur présenté par Viggo Mortensen  (reply)
I think I'd flip Loui and Pasta. Also, I think CMiller has a good shot making it as he's that valuable 'right shot' D-Man. That said, it's the end of the world for the B's. I have absolutely no clue what they're doing when they give...

Re: Guy Lafleur présenté par Viggo Mortensen  (reply)
The Bruins are a "right for the 8th seed" team as currently constituted. The McQuaid signing is for too much, though I'm sure some team would give him that since he's better than Engelland who got 2.8 AAV last year. McQuaid is basically...

I'm actually fine with the Lucic deal other than maybe having to keep some of his money but I guess that's the price to probably get Miller too. I do not like the Hamilton return. I think they should have gotten at least a top 6...

Re: Guy Lafleur présenté par Viggo Mortensen  (reply)
prospect is Colin Miller, a right shot D from LA's AHL Manchester team. Has some upside (per Mark Divver): Miller won AHL hardest shot competiton with 105.5 mph. Fastest skater, too, with 13.988.

Yup - the Bruins got their 6th round pick that they gave Colorado in the Caron trade. Hey - they got something for nothing which I guess is good (that applies to Caron too - lol). Rumors have Lucic maybe going to Edmonton of all...

Yup and Carey Price wins everything else. I don't think he should have gotten the Hart Trophy. If Tim Thomas didn't get in in 2011 with his stats, Price shouldn't have gotten it this year. I was a bit surprised Bergy got the Selke....

Re: Guy Lafleur présenté par Viggo Mortensen  (reply)
Agreed dav. The only guy in there that is 'appetizing' is Teravainen. Bickell is mediocre and Sharp while a good player is older. In addition, it is a huge cap hit. Why would Arizona agree to that? I guess from Chicago's standpoint,...

Re: Guy Lafleur présenté par Viggo Mortensen  (reply)
Keep hearing teams trying to get Arizona's #3 overall pick, including Chicago making a kitchen sink offer of Sharp/Bickell/Teravainen for it due to their cap issues (I wouldn't make that deal if I were Arizona).

Re: Guy Lafleur présenté par Viggo Mortensen  (reply)
Nope only going up to $71.4M. The Canadian dollar has killed any potential sizable increase. Although the good news is it looks like they're going to 3 vs 3 in the OT. That should get rid of a good deal of shoot outs anyway. I'd...

Re: Guy Lafleur présenté par Viggo Mortensen  (reply)
Hey, guys, The cap is not growing much this coming season, so I am not sure how much wheeling and dealing we might see leading into the draft, since many of the contenders are scraping or over the ceiling. Still, all it takes is a...

Hey dav,Actually I was just coming here to mention that.  Nice to see the B's are stocked at the goalie position.  Does this now make packaging Subban easier - probably.  As for Loui, I like him.  I agree with that article.  I don't...

Bruins just announced that they have signed Zane McIntyre, winner of the Richter award at North Dakota. Seeing him and Subban as being the mainstays in Providence.

Good article which echoes my thoughts on Loui (hence, why it's a good article naturally!)Eriksson should be attractive to other teams because he has the most fair cap hit of the aforementioned group. He was Boston’s most important winger...

Never liked that Pens trade Depres for Lovejoy. Should have kept him, could be looking at him with Letang, Maata, Dumoulin, Pouliot, and Cole/Scuderi. Dax, totally spaced on Connolly! I didn't want to speculate on trades, but of the 3...

Saad might be about to get a lot of RFA offer sheets. I know a lot of people in Pittsburgh want to see him come back to his hometown, but the Pens don't have much in the way of draft pick compensation to offer. I am pretty sure the hawks...
