For me, lately, the list has been growing. I would most like to have the original 1E Deities and Demigods that had everything in it -- Elric, Newhon, Cthulu, etc. That was such a freakin' cool book. My brother has a copy and I'm quite jealous. I also would like to have the 2E Waterdeep box set for all of the detail on the city and the giant map. I'd love to have a good source for Greyhawk. I have just the lackluster 3.x material. Also on my wish list is the 2E Tome of Artifacts. From what I understand, it goes quite indepth into the history of the classic DnD artifacts (such as the Sword of Kas). I also would like to have the Dark Sun boxed set, but a friend who has it has said that he'll give it to me. There's probably some Planescape stuff that I'd also like to have, but I'm not familiar enough with the old material to even know what would be most useful for a 3.5 game. (I recently purchased a copy of "In the Cage: A Guide to Sigil" and the Sigil npc book). Does anyone else want/intend to buy any old DnD stuff?

I kinda wish I still had my original AD&D modules in print (bought 'em on PDF) , my original LBBs ,as well as a few choice later items (e.g. 1E FR boxed set). I'll eventually get a cheap later edition white box. I have almost all of the D&D/AD&D modules and rulebooks I really want or need. Don't really like to collect much else, except a few 2e books just for reference. I'd like to acquire earlier printings of most stuff. Again, though, cost doesn't make sense just to sit on my shelf. Only modules and rulebooks I really want off the top of my head (not counting rares like Palace of the Vampire Queen or Lost Tamoachan or Lost Caverns of Tsojconth, which are obvious wants but again way too pricey) are mods B7/8/9, X2/6/7/8/10/13, and the "all-in" Deities & Demigods referenced above by Sen. I wouldn't mind a few odds-n-ends from Judges Guild or Flying Buffalo or the Arduin books, but I'm not likely to get those unless I stumble upon them somewhere in a used bookstore or yard sale. Tarantis had big the big item to find for the lame reason that my only copy was in shrink (got an open copy from a friend). For some reason, Pegasus #2 has always been hard to find. For unrelated older material, wouldn't mind some Gamma World or some EPT (which I got to play a few times at a local con in the 90's).

Like the Tiefling Assmir book by Green Ronin forget the name off the top of my head and a few others like that. Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety. Benjamin Franklin For MSG - I am sure you can teach a monkey to scratch his butt, just tell him to watch you. After a couple of hours he should be a master at it.

I've got a batch of them, but the Blackmoor ones (DA series) I'd like to have for reference sake. Luckily, Dallas has a very good market for used books & games. I can usually find stuff if I'm patient enough. Lastly, I'd like copies of the Central Casting stuff and the Arduin stuff....even in pdf, just to read. Sen, I've seen most of what you're wanting passing through the HalfPrice Books shops here and they were fairly inexpensive. Let me know what you'd like to pay, what condition is acceptable, and any other little specifics and I'll see if I can grab them for you.

(It got crushed in a friend's car.) I'd like to get the Arabian Adventures book (2E) and round out my boxed sets from that line. Would also enjoy getting Spelljammer, and maybe a few of the modules back that got crushed with the Dragons, especially the old, hard to find RPGA ones. Sen, I have a copy of Deities and Demigods like you want. There have actually been a couple printings. (I don't have the really rare one.) I remember reading - perhaps in Dragon - that it was not getting reprinted with those two mythoi and I ran out and grabbed it at Barnes & Noble. Weird how some stuff is. Lands of the Jade Oath. Coming soon from Rite Publishing. Beware the Bakemono.

A few weeks ago I went to Houston to meet my best friend (and first GM) when he passed through town. I asked him if he still had his old wood grain box set. He said he recently asked his father to dig it out of storage and send it to him. (Ready for the groan?) He thought the box was to beat-up and mildew stained and threw it away. I have my original OCE books, but I too got rid of the beat up box many years ago. I didn't know then I would be a collector. I'd like to have a printing that says hobbits instead of haflings and ents instead of treants. Palace of the Vampire Queen (1st print) is my prize collection piece. I let a friend borrow my original Deities & Demigods (with all mythos) and never saw it again. I had to replace that from a pricey eBay auction. I am a major Judges Guild collector. I have about 90% of everything released (in every printing/edition). I have played OD&D, Holmes Basic, AD&D 1e & 2e and D&D 3.0 & 3.5 and have been acquiring material for all those editions for years. I never played B/X or BECMI, so have been going back to collect items for those lines. I would like to have the Rules Cyclopedia too. I have very little interest in setting material (Greyhawk, Mystara, FR, etc.), however I would like to have the DA Gazetteers because of their tie in to Judges Guild's First Fantasy Campaign. I'm always on the look out for good AD&D modules (which I can convert to any edition). I have the first print EPT box set, but have never found anyone who plays... pity, it is always so highly rated for the richness of the setting and I am neophyte when it comes to appreciating that. And G1 was the first published AD&D module. see The Acaeum Though I started on the LBBS, I've never seen POTVQ or any of the other Wee-Warriors items (modules, Character Archaic, etc). I don't recall any of my friends who started me on the game having them either. Judges Guild items were rare enough in my area before D&D started to really boom. It was tough finding the O/AD&D books/modules until the latter days of the Holmes set 's run/right when the Moldvay set surfaced. Then it seemed like there was a new TSR product of some sort- GW, TS, Basic module, AD&D module, accessory (e.g. DM log), mini-game, etc every couple of weeks sitting on the shelf at my local book store. *Founding Father of O.A.F.- Old school Admirers of Fourth edition* "I feel books like "A Princess of Mars", "The Swords of Lankhmar" and "The Black Company" are far more important to your gaming experience than whether you choose between OSRIC, Labyrinth Lord, or D&D4E." ..... Even products like "Up the Garden Path" which is extremely rare (but reportedly a sucky adventure) would be neat to have in electronic form if nothing else.

After WOTC released that online and I read it, I couldn't believe how awful it was, and understood totally why they trashed it. I'm glad they had Moldvay re-write it. While it's very "newbie", that was a fun module. Here's some info at the Acaeum about the original print- Acaeum wrote: T he First printing (orange cover) of this module was apparently rushed to the printer because of a deadline. However, as Evan Robinson, a TSR editor at the time, notes: "We expressed concern about the content and writing in the module (internally referred to as 'Phallus of the Silver Princess') while Jean was creating it.
