Would absolutely love such a book. Something with enough mean-spirited creatures to make the 4E Monster Manual creatures look absolutely tame.
Even if the book was up to 50% conversion from the 3.5 Tome of Horror elite entries, and the other half being new terrors to plague characters with. I'd be in love with such a book. Platonically. _________________

I know this is an old thread but I'm bumping it anyway.
I really could use a 4e MM. The one thing that's preventing me from running old pre-4e modules with 4e rules is the monsters. Everything else can be converted to 4e on the fly. But monster can't be b.s.'d easily in the middle of game sessions. I'm working on my own 4e MM containing 1e MM monsters. But making my own monsters takes time. Others on the internet occasionally create 4e versions of overlooked 1e monsters. But it's going at a snail's pace. And many gamers seem uninterested in making a 4e version of a Baluchitherium, for example. At every turn, I hear the same story. Licensing problems with WotC. To you folks at WotC, get over it. What you're doing now is not working. |
