Well yesterday was day one of this online campaign using judges guild/necromaner games Wilderlands series.

We're using 2e AD&D and it's a real hoot because I challenged the players (who are all 3.5 or 4e players) to actually try and see if they liked 2e Many had never played it.

Whether the evil came west from Dyvers, or crept up out of the forestlands bordering the Wild Coast, come it did. At first it was only a few thieves and an odd group of bandits molesting the merchant caravans (that's sick -- they must be very odd). Then came small bands of humanoids raiding the flocks and herds (but not molesting them in any way, thank Pangrus). Local militia and foresters of the Waldgraf of Ostverk apparently checked, but did not stop, the spread of outlawry and evil....

I ran a really weird session last Sunday for my 4E Wilderlands game set in Harpstring, on an island at the southern tip of the Antillian Peninsula. I was a little out of it and the characters took actions that I wasn't expecting. Basically I was just playing catch up and improvising. I also couldn't put together a great terrain set-up to save my life. I guess a couple weeks out of the saddle rattled me.

No clue who may be reading, but posting this can be both entertaining for the sake of the reader, as well for me to get my thoughts and ideas organized into a more cohesive format.
