I seen Avatar recently as well. I must say I was a bit disapointed. Specially effects where great but the plot was so dry and over done, almost the same plot as the Disney Pocohantes(sp) cartoon. The acting was fair to below average I thought. All and all I just felt like it was a movie that fell inlove with it's own special effects and neglected to develope the plot or characters.

So what did everyone else think?

Was a very good movie, smart, witty, good characterization, good classic types of action scenes, my whole family enjoyed it a lot. Definitely one of our top movies of 2009.

Ok this is funny as hell, so far I have only listened to the first one. Oh my god is it funny. The start is a rap song about DnD which is just great.

I started watching it the other night. It's not ROFL funny, but it does make me giggle. The "animation" is ludicrous, but that's part of the fun. It can be a bit lowbrow, but if you're a science fiction fan, its a funny parody of just about all sci-fi tropes.
